Phil Keoghan in Fort Wayne Monday

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Amazing Race host Phil Keoghan will ride into Fort Wayne Monday morning.

He's cycling across the country for two reasons: to encourage people to get more active and promote awareness of multiple sclerosis.

Mayor Henry will greet him at about 8:30 a.m. on the old Wells St. iron bridge.

The public is invited to attend the kick-off ceremony, then ride along with Phil.  Registration is required at 8:00 a.m.   Helmets are also required.

The ride starts at 9:30.

Phil started his ride in Los Angeles on March 28.  He should arrive in New York on May 9.
