FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The Hands Off My Health Care tour bus made it's first stop in Fort Wayne Monday morning. The group Americans for Prosperity is touring the country to protest President Obama's proposed health care reform.
About 200 supporters attended a rally at the old Kay's Merchandise site on Coliseum Blvd. They say they want to send a clear message to elected officials that a government takeover of health care would cost Americans their freedom to choose a doctor and endanger the lives of our country's most vulnerable people.
About 25 people showed up to protest the group's message, saying 50 million uninsured Americans is unnaceptable.
