Pastor arrested on child sex charges

DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) - A Garrett pastor and another man were arrested Thursday on sex crime charges.

Lane Andrews, 54, faces a preliminary charge of child molesting. Andrews is accused of letting a child under the age of 14 fondle him.

Andrews has been the pastor of New Life Ministries in Garrett for 15 years. He is currently free on $3,000 bond. If convicted he could face a four year sentence.

The other man, Levi Tink, 26, of Angola, is accused of felony sexual misconduct with a minor. Police say he had sex with a 14-year-old.

Tink is behind bars on a $20,000 bond. If convicted, he could face a 10-year sentence.
