Joe Gil faces a Class A Felony charge

ANGOLA, Ind. (WANE) - An arsonist from Angola will be behind bars for the next 29 years.

Joe Gil Jr., 40, got his sentence from a Steuben County judge Monday. The official sentence is for 60 years of jail time, but he with time served and other factors, he will spend about 29 years behind bars.
Gil will serve time for setting fire to a car while a 13-year-old girl was inside in December 2008.
The girl's doing okay now, but she did have burns.
Her mother, Gil's girlfriend at the time, pulled her out of the car.
