Adams Co. officials have set up a fund for 37 neglected horses.

Authorities removed them from Rick Hill's farm last Thursday and took to the Adams Co. Fair Grounds.  Many of the horses are sick and malnourished.

Hill was arrested on Friday, but has since been released.  He's facing an animal cruelty charge.

For now, volunteers are caring for the horses in shifts.

If you'd like to donate to the horse fund, make a check or money order out to "Treasurer Adams County" and write "horse donation" on the memo line.

You can drop it off at the Allen Co. Sheriff's Department or mail it to P.O. Box 608, Decatur, IN 46733.
