FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - People enjoyed a fun workout Sunday afternoon, and it was all for a good cause.

The zumbathon at the Renaissance YMCA was a fundraiser for the Voices of Unity youth choir.

Higher Image Salon hosted the event.

They decided on zumba because it's something anyone can take part in.

Organizers said they wanted to help out the Voices of Unity because the group works really hard.

"My daughter and I had been a part of Voices of Unity," said Tawnia Gaskill, an organizer of the event. "We just wanted to do something to help the kids and help Marshall White out. They work really, really hard. I'm sure everyone knows that from them winning the title, the championship last year. So we're hoping that they win again this year."

All proceeds from the event will go to the youth choir.
