East Wayne Street closed at S. Anthony Blvd. due to water main break

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - A water main break has forced crews to close East Wayne Street at South Anthony Boulevard while crews make repairs.
An official with the city said the main busted around 8:00 Wednesday night. Crews weren't sure of the cause but said old piping from the 1920's could be to blame.
Crews have been working since the break to make repairs.
It's unclear when repairs when will be finished and when the road might reopen.
Motorists will need to use Jefferson Boulevard/Maumee Avenue as a detour.
