FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - There was a community send-off Sunday night for the Voices of Unity youth choir.

The choir will compete in the 2012 World Choir Games starting Wednesday in Cincinnati. It won gold in two categories in the 2010 World Choir Games in China.

Sunday night's event was a way for the community to show support, recognize the kids' hard work and help raise money for their trip.

NewsChannel 15's Terra Brantley was the emcee. Watch NewsChannel 15 for coverage of the choir in Cincinnati in the coming week.
