COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. (WANE) - The fourth annual Veteran's Marathon in Columbia City will support the people on the East Coast affected by the recent storms.

The race will donate $5 to the American Red Cross every time a New York City Marathon runner enters their bib number when they register for the Veteran's Marathon.

The 2012 New York City Marathon was canceled after Hurricane Sandy hit the city.

The event will feature a marathon, half-marathon and 5K run.

The Veteran's Marathon will be held on November 10. Races will begin at 8:00 a.m.
