FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The University of Saint Francis celebrated diversity in recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month Saturday. The university hoped the event would promote cultural awareness to its students.
The school also hoped to benefit the Hispanic community by providing financial aid counseling in Spanish for those in need.
Some of the activities included a soccer tournament, piñata making, and a movie screening in Spanish. The day wrapped up with a bilingual Mass.
