ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) - A fire started in a bathroom fan in a home in northeast Allen County Saturday night.

Firefighters responded to a house on Oak Pointe Drive a little after 8 p.m. Two people were home when they heard the smoke detectors go off. Fire and smoke were coming from the ventilation fan in the bathroom. The fire spread from there to the attic.

Northeast Allen County, Huntertown and St. Joseph Township fire departments all responded. Firefighters used a thermal imaging device to help find the fire.

No one was hurt and there was only minor damage.
