Twilight star makes FW cancer benefit appearance

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Peter Facinelli, a.k.a., Dr. Carlisle Cullen from the Twilight series made an appearance at Jefferson Pointe in Fort Wayne Saturday for a benefit to battle childhood cancer.
Visitors were given the opportunity to purchase a picture with Facinelli for $40 or get an autograph for $25. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation ; an organization committed to finding a cure for all childhood cancers.
Facinelli’s appearance at Jefferson Pointe, 4110 W Jefferson Blvd., will last until 5 p.m.
