FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Shortly after being named the Executive Director for the Three Rivers Festival, Jack Hammer joined the First News Saturday crew.
Hammer served as the interim Executive Director for the 2010 Three Rivers Festival event, and will now begin planning the 2011 event at the Executive Director.
Hammer is a well-known local media personality, with more than 20 years experience in northeast Indiana media. He’s been involved on many board and fundraising activities and has helped in the planning of many large Fort Wayne events, including the 1996 Fort Wayne Bicentennial celebration.
