FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Raymond Jeter sent us this photo using Report !t of a fallen traffic signal at the intersection of Calhoun and Jefferson.
According to an officer on the scene, a garage mechanic driving a fire truck cut the corner too close while turning southbound onto Calhoun St. and knocked down the pole.
Police said the signal pole fell on top of a car being driven by a student driver.
There were no injuries.
S. Calhoun south of Washington Blvd is closed as crews repair the pole. N. Clinton St. at Lewis St. is also closed.
The Indiana Department of Transportation has made it easy to check road conditions around the state.
