FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - It was business as usual at TGF Mobile Thursday after it was shot up inside Wednesday night.

"Getting the customer situated, someone just swings the door open, and just start shooting," said James Scott, TGF Mobile owner.

Police were called to a strip mall in the 600 block of East Lewis St. around 7:15 p.m. Wednesday of shots being fired inside TGF Mobile. The victim was found inside the store.

Scott exclusively showed NewsChannel 15 the surveillance video as the crime unfolded. In the video, a customer didn't have time to react, and was shot. He was taken to the hospital and has since been treated and released. The shooting has Scott thinking of different types of security.

"You talk about putting a buzzer on the doors so that you can buzz people in, and a lot of different safety measures," he said.

Customers came inside the store Thursday to check on Scott. He wants action to be taken to bring senseless acts like this to a halt, and he said it starts with people in the community.

"Whatever leadership role anybody has in this community, I would love to see us unite. Whatever it takes, no big "I's" or little "You's", just peace," he said.

Investigators believe the shooting wasn't random and that the victim was targeted.

The shooting is still under investigation.

There will be a rally called "Increase the Peace" being held on Tuesday February 26th from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the corner of Hanna and Lewis Streets. There will be speakers and entertainment.
