DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) - Two teens walked away with only minor injuries after hitting a fence post and rolling a car over a ditch Saturday night in DeKalb County.
Around 5:47 p.m., Kendallville 18-year-old, Alec Traxler, 260 E. Airport Road, was driving a 2007 Chrysler Sebring south on County Road 13, north of County Road 16 when he drove off the west edge of the roadway.
Police said Traxler lost control and hit a fence post, which caused him to roll the car and vault over a ditch, finally coming to rest on its top in a field.
Traxler only complained of pain to the chest. His passenger, 15-year-old Abigail Ramey, 232 S. Clark St, Kendallville, only complained of pain to the head and arm.
