FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - In Saturday’s installment of NewsChannel 15’s “Saving America: 28 Ideas in 28 Days” series, First News Weekend anchor Drew Blair sat down with a teenager who has been actively involved in the Fort Wayne community.
Alison Mansfield, 16, developed a service project named Operation U.S. Troop Support in the fifth grade.
The Homestead High School junior has spent countless hours in the past six years raising funds and supplies to send care packages to troops serving overseas.
