BERNE, Ind. (WANE) The principal of South Adams Elementary School has resigned amid an investigation. The nature of that investigation hasn't been released.

Superintendent Scott Litwiller accepted the resignation of former principal Brian Strauss on October 3, effective immediately.

“Mr. Strauss informed me that he is under investigation in relation to his previous employment in another county. The investigation does not involve his work for or presence in South Adams Schools,” Litwiller said in a press release.
