Police: Victim targeted in E. Lewis Street shooting

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE)  One man is in serious condition after a shooting Wednesday night on Fort Wayne's southeast side.

Police were called to a strip mall in the 600 block of East Lewis St. around 7:15. The victim was found inside the TGF Mobile store.

Police said the suspect opened the front door and started firing, then left in a black SUV.

According to FWPD's spokesperson, Raquel Foster, the shooting was not random and the victim was targeted. The shooting is still under investigation.
