FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Turnstone hosted its first power soccer tournament of the season on Saturday and Sunday.

Both of Turnstone's teams, the Turnstrone Flyers and Furious Flyers, competed in the tournament, which combines teams from the Premier and Champions Conference.

Five teams traveled from across the region to join Turnstone's two teams in the competition.

"It's a chance for them to get out there and finally be active and be competitive with their peers and get that feeling that every other kid can have if they want in their high school or AAU or travel or whatever it may be, little league, whatever it may be," Andrew Achenbach, Sports and Rec Coordinator for Turnstone, said.

All teams in the tournament are in the top 20 in the country.
