FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Scotty's Brewhouse will be opening in the former Richard's building at the corner of Jefferson Boulevard and Getz Road in Fort Wayne.
According to Scott Wise, President and CEO of Scotty's Brewhouse, the old Richard's building will be knocked down and the new Scotty's building will be rebuilt in that spot. Wise said the restaurant will most likely open by August or September of 2013.
Scotty's has several location across Indiana including:
Scotty's features burgers, wraps, 30 draft beers, 30 types of bottled beers, and specialty cocktails. Wise said the restaurant will also carry six brewed beers from Scotty's Indianapolis brew pub, Thr3e Wise Men Brewing Company. Scotty's will sell carryout growlers of craft beer every day except Sunday.
Wise said the restaurant will have 60 televisions, including TV's at each booth. Kids eat free on Sundays and Tuesdays. Patio dining will also be available.
According to Wise, Scotty's will begin accepting applications for the Fort Wayne location in June through their website. The restaurant will also be hiring four to six salaried management positions. Management candidates can apply now by emailing the director of Human Resources, Kim Lewandowski, at klewandowski@scottysbrewhouse.com.
