RR repair to close Ferguson Rd.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) -- Ferguson Road will be closed to all traffic at the Norfolk-Southern Railroad track east of Airport Drive for the majority of the day Wednesday.

According to the City of Fort Wayne’s Traffic Engineering Department, the closure will take effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to allow Norfolk-Southern Railroad to complete repairs to their crossing on Ferguson Road.

A detour route will be established that will utilize Bluffton Road, Airport Expressway and Ardmore Avenue for westbound traffic. Eastbound traffic will use Airport Drive, Airport Expressway and Bluffton Road.
