INDIANAPOLIS (WANE) - The Riley Children’s Foundation has granted $10,000 to two Fort Wayne organizations focused on the overall health and well-being of Indiana’s children.

Katie’s Kart and Erin’s House for Grieving Children each received $5,000 youth grants.

Katie’s Kart gives books to hospitalized children in hopes of providing children and their families with a small diversion.

Erin’s House provides support to children and families who are grieving after suffering from the lost of a loved one.

As Indiana’s only comprehensive hospital dedicated exclusively to the care of children, Riley Hospital has provided compassionate care, support and comfort to children and their families since 1924. Every year children from all 92 Indiana counties turn to Riley Hospital and its regional clinics throughout the state more than 250,000 times. Riley Hospital’s partnership with Clarian Health and strong affiliation with the Indiana University School of Medicine make it the leader in pediatric care in the state and the region.
