FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) The Indiana–Ohio Blood Services Region of the American Red Cross is looking for volunteers to help with blood drives in the area. Volunteers are needed to help with registration and refreshments both at the Fort Wayne Donor Center on California Road and various mobile blood drives throughout Allen and Wells Counties.
Volunteers are central to the work of the American Red Cross in communities across the country, as on average, the Red Cross has 15 volunteers for every one employee. Volunteers are especially needed for Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays and will receive all necessary training from the American Red Cross.
To volunteer, contact the Indiana–Ohio Blood Services Region, Volunteer Services office at (260) 480-8218.
