FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - People hit the race track Sunday afternoon for a fun, competitive event. It was the 18th annual Chase Junior Achievement Grand Prix at Baer Field.

It's a fundraiser for Junior Achievement. That's an organization that teaches kids financial literacy.

"It's something you ingrain in children and you want kids and anybody, adults to become successful. We need to know how to save money. We need to know what money is and how to treat money," Stephen Hilker, the event manager, said.

Organizers hope to raise about $50,000 for Junior Achievement.
