FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Queen of Angels Elementary School won a $10,000 technology makeover from Skype on Thursday.
The school said they only have one computer lab for kindergarten through eighth grade students. All of the computers in the lab are more than eight years old.
Santa Claus made the Skype call to the school during an assembly to announce the news of the makeover. Students were able to ask Santa questions and tell him what they want for Christmas.
Queen of Angels leaders said several IEP students and a blind student will benefit from the special equipment and technology upgrade.
