FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - People and their pets were getting into the holiday spirit Saturday with family pictures.

H.O.P.E. for Animals ' Pics for Paws event also raised money to end unnecessary euthanasia of pets.

People were invited to bring their whole family, pets included, to get a holiday portrait.

"It's not everyday that you can just walk into a building and get your family pictures with your pet. A lot of places are just like. 'Oh, come get your kids and all that,' but family is pets for us. It's not necessarily just people," Katie Policinski with H.O.P.E. for Animals said.

People can still get pictures taken Sunday from noon to 3 p.m. at H.O.P.E. for Animals at 1333 Maycrest Drive. The session is $7.99 for a 5x7 photo and a digital copy.
