FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The Down Syndrome Association of Northeast Indiana had its 14th annual Buddy Walk Saturday morning.

More than 1,100 people came to Shoaff Park to fundraise and celebrate the accomplishments of people living with Down Syndrome in the area.  The winning team of this year's walk raised $3,100. That is the first time a team has raised more than $3,000.

Proceeds from the walk support local programs and outreach to families in the community.
