FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Some people in Fort Wayne were celebrating their success in a fitness challenge Sunday.
Fort Wayne Strength and Conditioning put on the "Best Shape of Your Life Challenge". It started about six weeks ago. Since then, participants have been keeping track of how they eat, sleep and move.
Sunday they met to track their progress. Organizers said this challenge is about taking care of your overall health and not just weight loss.
"We need to look at some basic parameters that determine health. It's not just about weight. Weight is a good indicator of some things, but we also need to know body fat percentage. We also need to look at your lab work," Justin Springer of Fort Wayne Strength and Conditioning said.
Springer said another challenge will start February 15th. Registration begins in January.
