Part of Main Street in downtown FW will be closed this weekend

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Main Street in downtown Fort Wayne will be closed to all westbound traffic between Clinton Street and Calhoun Street for the next few days.

The closure begins Friday, February 17, 2012 and continues through Sunday, February 19, 2012.

Eastbound traffic will not be affected on Friday, February, 17, 2012. But eastbound traffic will be closed on Saturday, February 18, 2012 and Sunday, February 19, 2012.

The closure will allow the contractor Current Mechanical, to erect a crane in the street to lift materials to the roof of the City County Building.

A detour route has been set up utilizing Clinton, Berry and Calhoun Streets for westbound traffic. Eastbound traffic should utilize Calhoun., Superior and Clinton Streets.
