ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) - Nearly 2,800 Allen County residents did not have power on Sunday for more than an hour.

An Indiana Michigan Power employee said that a substation was out due to a squirrel interfering with the substation. The employee said the substation was in southwest central Fort Wayne.

The employee confirmed that power was restored around 2:30 p.m.

A city official said 18 traffic signals in downtown Fort Wayne were out, but all signals are now functioning.
