FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The Fort Wayne Fire Department battled a house fire early Friday morning.
Four people, including one adult and three children, were home when the first sparked, but made it outside safely before crews even arrived to the fire.
It happened around 3:15 a.m. in the 2200 block of East Rudisill.
Officials said when they got on scene they found heavy smoke coming from the one story home.
The firefighters used and aggressive attack from the inside of the home to bring the fire under control in fourteen minutes.
Fire crews said most of the fire appeared to be in the kitchen area.
No injuries were reported, and the fire is under investigation.
