FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Hundreds of kids got to learn some wrestling techniques from an Olympic athlete Sunday.
Ken Chertow was at Indiana Tech for a wrestling camp. Kids as young as seven were there to learn wrestling moves and hear stories from Chertow.
He leads this wrestling camp in cities all across the country. He said it helps prepare kids for wrestling in college and state championships.
"I like to help kids get big dreams and develop the work ethic and the intensity to succeed in life, school, wrestling and everything else they do," Chertow said.
Chertow said he was pleased with the turnout for the camp in northeast Indiana and that he plans to come back again next year.
