On Election Day, the country will be watching a few key states closely, and Ohio is one of them.
"It's almost like 49 states are watching what happens in the Buckeye State," said Al Arnold, an Ohio voter.
Recent polls show President Obama and Governor Romney nearly tied. In Ohio, some polls show the two candidates just one percentage point apart.
Some voters in Northwest Ohio said they are feeling the pressure of living in a swing state.
"With Ohio being such an important factor in the voting it's like there's so many decisions that are riding on whether you're going to be a Democrat or Republican country in the next 24 hours, so there's a lot of tension in the area," said Travis Tribolet, a small business owner in Van Wert, Ohio.
In 2008, Obama won Ohio by a narrow margin. However, people said living in a state that's so close this election makes them feel as if their one vote really counts.
"It makes me feel very important like you need to get out and vote," Tribolet said.
Polls open at 6:30 A.M.. and close at 7:30 P.M.. Tuesday in Ohio, and they’re open from 6 A.M.. to 6 P.M.. in Indiana.
