ROANOKE, Ind. (WANE) - The Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership is launched a new strategy to attract and retain talent in the area.

A new set of videos that highlight talent in Northeast Indiana was unveiled at the Joseph Decuis restaurant in Roanoke on Monday morning.

There will be 13 different pieces which tell the stories of people who have been successful in northeast Indiana. The pieces were paid for by investors.

The stories will air on TV and will be available online .

The videos are the second half of a strategy adopted by the Regional Opportunities Council in 2011. The mission adopted in 2011 was to develop, attract and retain talent in the area.

So far, the group's Talent Initiative and V ision 2020 initiative have focused on developing the region's talent.

The Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership was created in 2006 to help build a globally competitive economy in Northeast Indiana through business development, capacity building and job growth. In 2010, Vision 2020 was formed under the umbrella of the Partnership to build the capacity of the region in five key areas: 21st Century Talent, Competitive Business Climate, Entrepreneurship, Infrastructure and Quality of Life. By combining business development efforts with capacity building, NEIRP has the tools needed to leverage the region's current attributes and build future strength.
