FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Over the last few days, it’s been all about the drought and all the negative things that come with it, but even though we haven’t had much rain – the weather has been downright gorgeous.
NewsChannel 15 spoke with people enjoying the weather, and they had no complaints.
Many are trying to keep cool by headed to local splash pads.
Others were enjoying the weather by walking around and sampling different foods at this year’s Ribfest.
Though very few deny there needs to be rain, many aren’t complaing about what’s being offered up by mother nature.
“I was playing in the water, and me and my brother went over here and we exercised and tried to climb on up the pole over here, it was very fun,” said Gavin McAllister.
And, it turns out adults were getting in on the action too.
“They’re going to do a family picnic tonight and then, they’re heading back to the lake,” said Michael Precour.”
There’s no rain in the foreseeable forecast.
