FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - NIPSCO announced they will donate $10 to Red Cross chapters across Indiana for each customer who enrolls in their paperless billing service before March 31.

Instead of receiving a paper bill in the mail, customers will receive an e-mail notification about their utility bill. The paperless billing service is free. NIPSCO said e-Bill customers can continue to mail their payment in or they can pay the bill online.

NIPSCO said money donated to the Red Cross will go towards:

  • Community disaster planning and preparedness
  • Disaster relief and recovery assistance for individuals & families
  • Emergency communication and financial support for military personnel and their families

You can sign up by visiting NIPSCO's website and selecting "Manage Your Account."
