NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WANE) - Stephanie Kline, of New Haven, won $1,000,000 last week in Hoosier Lottery’s Golden Ticket scratch-off.
“It makes me feel great, of course,” Kline said, “but it doesn’t change my everyday. It will be great to pay off all my bills though.”
Kline said she also plans on establishing a college fund for her 16-month-old son.
She bought the winning ticket September 4 when she went to Lassus Brothers Oil at 633 Broadway in New Haven to cash in $30 in scratch-off tickets. She said she decided to buy the $20 ticket at the spur of the moment.
“I might go weeks without playing the lottery. I don’t know, I just decided to buy it,” she said.
