FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - More lane restrictions are coming to the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Bridge in Fort Wayne.

Starting Saturday, crews will begin touch-up painting on the structure, the Indiana Department of Transportation reported. The work will last through the weekend and into next week.

That means there will be intermittent and alternating lane restrictions during daytime hours.

Crews will also hang the overhead sign on the bridge during the week of May 14, requiring lane restrictions to a single lane of traffic on the bridge while the work is in progress.

INDOT said overall construction on the bridge is nearing completion.
