NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WANE) - Some antique model planes are flying high over New Haven this week as part of the yearly RC Old Timer Contest.
The Flying Circuits Incorporated and the Society of Antique Modelers are competing.
Some pilots are using engines more than 60 years old, powered by a nitro fuel and oil mixture. Others are using electric power motors.
If you'd like to see the flying antiques, this contest continues Thursday at Jefferson Township Park. Hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
