Mobile home destroyed in early morning fire

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) - A mobile home is destroyed after a fire early Thursday morning.

Firefighters were called to the home at 15001 Mill Rd. a little before 4 a.m. When they got there, it was fully involved in flames.

The two people inside and their dog were able to make it out safely. They aren't sure about their cats at this time.

Fire officials said a space heater was being used, but the cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Several area departments were called out to help fight the fire.

The Red Cross is helping the two people since the home was destroyed by the fire.
