FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Fort Wayne's Martin Luther King, Jr. Bridge is glowing red to celebrate American Heart Month during the month of February.
The American Heart Association's "Go Red for Women" campaign is celebrating its 10th Anniversary in northeast Indiana this year.
All of the lights along the side beams of the bridge will be glowing red the entire month to support the cause of raising awareness for heart disease and prevention.
Mayor Tom Henry made a proclamation and a crowd, including many affected by heart disease, were on hand when the bridge's lights came on.
