INDIANAPOLIS (WANE) - Mega Millions with Megaplier continues to grow offering the biggest jackpot in Indiana right now. The Mega Millions jackpot is an estimated $100 million for Friday's drawing. The winning numbers drawn on Tuesday, August 17 are: 11-19-40-43-44 MB: 33. The Megaplier number was 4.
Powerball offers players a shot at an estimated $80 million for Saturday’s drawing. No player matched all six numbers to win Wednesday’s jackpot. Those winning numbers are: 4-32-33-47-55 PB: 39. The Power Play multiplier number was 3.
Hoosier Lotto has rolled again. No player matched all six numbers in Hoosier Lotto's Wedneday, August 18 drawing. The estimated jackpot for Hoosiers' hometown favorite Hoosier Lottery game is $24.5 million for Saturday's drawing. Winning numbers drawn on August 18 are: 7-13-17-33-35-47.
Players haven't had a shot at a Hoosier Lotto jackpot of this size in more than two years. March 3, 2010 marks the last time Hoosier Lotto was hit. Saturday's $24.5 million jackpot ranks as the seventh largest since the game started in 1994. It was last hit on March 3, 2010 by Jerry Jones of Muncie who won $9 million on a ticket purchased at Village Pantry at 4900 East Jackson St. in Muncie.
The winner of the current Hoosier Lotto jackpot will be the second jackpot winner of 2010 and the 11th jackpot winner since January 2009. The last 10 Hoosier Lotto jackpots were hit in Kokomo, Elkhart, Huntingburg, Muncie (twice), Milan, Indianapolis (twice), Connersville and New Albany.
The biggest Hoosier Lotto jackpot on record was won by Peter Gilbert of East Chicago. He beat the game's odds of 1:12,271,512 to win $54.5 million in November 2007.
Hoosier Lotto tickets cost just $1 and may be purchased at more than 4,000 retailers statewide. Players have until 10:40 p.m. EDT Saturday night to purchase tickets for Saturday's drawing.
