FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Just weeks after Marshalls in Southgate Plaza closed, Jefferson Pointe announced Thursday that the store will be opening this summer in the space that currently houses Old Navy.
Old Navy will be relocating to the 13,000 square foot space between Michael’s and the Family Christian Book Store. The store will remain open until they move to the new space in March.
Katie Fultz, operations manager at Old Navy, said the store will have a new look and feel.
Marshalls will occupy almost 25,000 square feet after Jefferson Pointe adds an additional 3,000 square feet to the current Old Navy building.
“Marshalls will compliment many of the stores currently at Jefferson Pointe," the mall's marketing manager, Katrina Newman, said.
The Marshalls store at the Southgate Plaza location closed in early 2013. There is another Marshalls at the Chapel Ridge Plaza on Maysville Road.
