FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - A new exhibit has started its run at Science Central.
City and state leaders helped cut the ribbon on "Mars in 3-D" Tuesday morning. Science Central is partnering with the German Aerospace Center on the exhibit.
As scientists try to learn whether there is or at least might have been life on Mars, the exhibit gives visitors the chance to check out huge, high-resolution pictures from the planet in 3-D.
"We have been in communication with the German [Aerospace] Center for about four years to get the Mars exhibition here," said Science Central Executive Director Martin Fisher. "What really excites me is that Science Central is the kick-off site for the exhibition as it begins its U.S. tour!"
"Mars in 3-D" will be at Science Central until September 2.
