FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Manchester University will dedicate its new north Fort Wayne pharmacy campus on Thursday, October 18 at 3:30 p.m.
The 82,000 square foot building is located at Dupont and Diebold roads just east on Interstate 69. The $20 million facility was designed for pharmacy study.
A $35 million grant from Lilly Endowment, Inc. made the north Fort Wayne campus possible.
Faculty and staff moved into the new offices in June. Seventy new Doctor of Pharmacy candidates will arrive each year over the next three years to fill the Fort Wayne campus.
Indiana Sen. David C. Long and other supporters of the Manchester University College of Pharmacy will speak at the dedication on Thursday. A reception and campus tour is to follow.
The architect of the building, Design Collaborative, and general contractor, Michael Kinder & Sons Inc., are both of Fort Wayne.
