FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - An avid disc golfer stopped in Fort Wayne Saturday as part of his trip across all fifty states.
This is Larry Kirk's second tour of the country. As a member of the air force, he's traveling a lot already. But he wanted to spread the word about disc golf.
This way, he gets to meet all kinds of people, from athletes to politicians, who all share his love for the game.
"I really want to just promote the game of disc golf. I don't know how else to do it but just get out and travel. I'm just one person. I'm trying to get the word of disc golf out, because I'm pretty passionate about it," Kirk said.
Indiana is the 38th state on Kirk's tour. He started July 8 and will continue until he plays in all 50 states. His next stop will be in Chicago
