A Noble County man who used to be a foster parent has been preliminarily charged with child molesting. This story comes to us with help from our partners at the News Sun.
Police in Kendallville arrested Robert Woolard II, 37, Tuesday. He's charged with child molesting, but police say his victim was not one of his foster children. They say the victim was an elementary school-aged girl.
Woolard was a foster parent at the time of the arrest, though, and that foster child has been removed from the home.
Woolard is being held without bond. His status as a foster parent has been revoked.
Police say there do not appear to be any other victims.
