FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - A local food drive kicked off Wednesday with a musical twist.

Students and staff at the University of Saint Francis are collecting food to donate to the needy in Fort Wayne.

They're trying to bring in 56,000 items of food.

To give their call for support an extra kick, the cast of the musical "All Shook Up" performed.

Tickets to the show are discounted if you bring a food donation. It's at the North Campus Auditorium on Spring Street.

Shows are November 6th, 7th, 13th, and 14th at 8 p.m. There are 2:00 matinees on the 8th and the 15th.

Tickets without a food bank donation are $10.
