FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - A Fort Wayne minister is combining his passions in an educational seminar. It involves Christianity, karate, and breaking bricks with his bare hands.
Reverend J. Brown is a Lutheran pastor. He preaches at Praise
Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne, but he's also a seventh degree black
belt.
Wednesday, NewsChannel 15 caught a glimpse of his program
"Breaking Barriers" at Concordia Lutheran High School.
In the 45-minute presentation, he talks to children about how
karate can help develop faith. He says it's a way of combining his
two main passions: martial arts and Christian faith.
People who attend his presentations say they leave feeling
inspired.
